Emily & Manos' Glasgow Wedding
A Greek/Scottish Extravaganza!
This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, and definitely one of the most colourful and full of traditions!
I started at Emily’s parent’s beautiful home in Busby where the girls were getting beautified (along with Frida the cat!) Emily had rewritten the lyrics to individual songs for her bridesmaids and sang them to them, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
I then zoomed over to Manos where he was getting ready with the Greek Contingent…all 30 odd of them! There was Greek music playing and an amazing atmosphere of love!
The wedding was at the beautiful Pollok House, with a ceremony full of emotion of once again, lots of love! With intermittent spells of dry weather, we got all the shots the couple wanted (some of which were so much fun!) and then some!
The first dance was a cheeky little surprise that started off slow, and broke into a choreographed Grease number, while the reception was a beautiful coming together of 2 countries, with both ceilidh and Greek dancing a-plenty!
A brilliant day, and once again, such a privilege to capture
