Strictly Ladies Lunch 2024
Event photography for the nost incredible Ladies Lunch at The Redhurst Hotel, organised by the exceptional Dawn Gough.
Sadly Dawn’s husband Peter passed away in September ’23 and she has chosen to take all her grief and funnel it into raising £25,000 for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, and this event was part of that.
I can tell you that a) this was the BEST event I’ve ever attended/photographed – the electricity & buzz in the room was incredible from the moment the doors opened, and b) Dawn SMASHED her target making £15,425 alone at this event!
The talent in that room was exceptional! With the amazing Kate Cameron from KC Community Choir welcoming guests as they arrived (what a TREAT that was 😍!) the super talented Natalie James Professional Singer singing and compering with Adam Stewart and the utterly brilliant Eilidh, Sharon, Anne Marie, Danielle and Lisa entertaining us with their sweeeeeeet vocals, it was just a joy!
PS….she raised a staggering £41,000 in the end!!!
Family Photoshoot Pollok Park Glasgow
Another family photoshoot in the beautiful Pollok Park in Glasgow.
Catriona & Russell first came along to a May Mini Session in 2021 when baby Robin was only 6 months old! They’ve since brought her to Christmas Teeny Sessions and Autumn Mini Sessions, so I’ve been able to watch her grow up!
Catriona is originally from New Zealand and when here parents came over to visit recently, she booked in a session to capture those beautiful moments with Robin’s grandparents.
As it turns out, Anne & Richard live just along from my best friend in New Zealand! It’s a small world!
Robin is just an absolute favourite of mine, she’s so spunky and cute and pretty and gives me a run for money! She did not disappoint and we spent a lovely few hours wandering around the park!
Nathaniel & Daena's Surprise Proposal Glasgow
A SURPRISE proposal (which I was totally in on!)
Nathaniel & Daena are from Canada, but were coming to Glasgow for a trip and Nathaniel wanted to propose, and have it captured! We chatted through various options and I shared some locations I work in, and he fell in love with that beautiful little bridge in Pollok Park! 🥰
The date was set, the plan was made…and then poor Daena was unwell! So we moved it to the next day and slightly changed the plan!
As far as Daena was concerned, the surprise was that he’d hired me to take some couple photos! And so we did! We wandered for a bit then went to the bridge, where we ‘bumped’ into his cousin on his ‘lunch break’ who would film it! (kudos to us for our excellent acting skills😆)
I then said I wanted to try something different and had Daena on one side looking outwards and Nathaniel on the other….but really he was getting down on one knee!
And the rest you can see!! Oh and SHE SAID YES!!
Extended Family Photoshoot Glasgow
When you have your full family contingent together for lunch, the wisest thing to do is book a photographer!
This lovely family have a special place in my heart and spending a few hours with them was just a joy!
Space was tight and it was cold outside (January in Scotland 🥶), so we did some family shots inside then the brave ones stepped outside for some individual family shots.
Extended family photography is not something everyone does, but honestly, everyone should!! These photos will be cherished for lifetimes, and that’s priceless!

Laura & Matthew's West End Wedding Glasgow
Laura & Matthew were joined by their families all the way from Malta, and their closest friends, from all over the world!
They had a beautiful, tear filled ceremony at The Glasgow City Chambers and we then did a whistle-stop shoot around the corner on John Street, then zoomed up to The Cloisters at Glasgow Uni (they’re both big Harry Potter fans!)
I am soooo lucky with the couples who choose me, they are always just so lovely and I genuinely love every minute, it’s such a honour to watch 2 people get married!
Dora & Ross' Glasgow Registry Wedding
The most colourful, loudest, celebratory Wedding at Montrose St Registry Office in Glasgow for Dora & Ross!
Dora and Ross where joined by their beautiful children, Kyla & Richard, and their families from all over the UK! This was by far the BEST reaction to a couple tying the knot EVER!! The noise created was just soooo joyful!!
We avoided the rain and got some shots at one of my favorite locations then I spent a few joyful hours capturing the fun at the reception at 91B Private Venue, which is just sooooo lovely!
Glasgow City Centre Family Photoshoot
Sheena contacted me from Canada to do a photoshoot for her eldest daughter who just graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University. She also wanted to capture some family photos while they were all together here in Glasgow.
We met up in Glasgow the day after Claudia’s graduation shoot and thankfully little Vivienne was feeling better and the weather was still playing ball!
This family were just so much fun, we had the best time playing in Prince’s Square and wandering about Buchanan Street, I really hope they come back one day for another shoot!
Claudia's Glasgow Graduation
I had the pleasure of capturing this wonderful family, all the way from Canada!
Sheena’s eldest daughter Claudia was graduating from university and Sheena wanted to capture the occasion, as well as some family photos (which you can find in another post!)
I love shooting in Glasgow city centre, there are just so many brilliant places to capture people, and we always have so much fun wandering about, especially with these guys!
Justine & Craig's Garfield House Wedding
Justine & Craig’s wedding took place at Garfield House Hotel just outside Glasgow, and what a great day I had!
Justine got ready with her mum & bridesmaids in the hotel, while Craig got ready along the road at another hotel! I spent the morning with the ladies then took a quick zoom along the road where (most) of the boys were ready and waiting!
The girls had champagne and afternoon tea while the boys had whisky and chewing gum!!
Big up to dad and gran for 2 of the best first looks I’ve seen, and not surprising, Justine looked stunning!
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, these two are so in love! We spent some time in the gardens afterwards, but not too long as it was freezing and Justine’s stunning dress was really heavy!
With just the right amount of speeches, a gorgeous father/daughter dance and some glow sticks, it was a top notch day!
