Fiona booked me after seeing the gallery of another Edinburgh Zoo wedding I photographed, and I jumped at the chance!

Fiona & Steve both live in England and were looking for a venue north of the border that was a little different, and they found it here!

The ceremony and reception are held in the stunning Mansion House which is situated in the heart of the zoo. The ceremony room is absolutely glorious and overlooks the Pentland Hills, it’s the most beautiful place to say your vows!

All the guests have access to the zoo, and we were lucky enough to visit the penguins after the zoo closed! I absolutely loved spending the day capturing this very sepcial day, and once again, the staff were absolutely brilliant!

The Cox Family

This is the second session I’ve done with this lovely family, and they didn’t disappoint! This time we chose Pollok Park for their session, which just has so many amazing little locations for a shoot.

These boys always bring the smiles and the colour…I can’t resist a black and white edit though!

I know that these will be framed and displayed on Tasha’s walls for years to come, and that makes me so happy!

This maternity shoot was the perfect opportunity to photograph in Glencoe, the scenery in Scotland is just second to none!

I had a vision of where I wanted to shoot, quite a specific location, so at 7 months pregnant, Kate trusted my vision and off we popped on a wee road trip to Glencoe!

The weather was questionable, we spent quite some time hiding from the rain in the car, and the dress (lent to me by the incredible maternity & newborn photographer Louise Ferguson Photography) needed dry cleaning 3 times….but it was worth it!

The utterly adorable Islay brought her mum and dad along for her first-ever photoshoot; she was amazing! This little face!

Babies can be tricky sometimes because they change moods on a whim, but it’s fairly easy to bring them back thankfully! But also, those in-between shots are super cute!

Although Roukenglen Park is really busy, I know lots of little places that are off-grid, and they make for amazing photos!

Congratulations to Chris & Moyra on their recent engagement too!

Duncanson Extended Family Photoshoot

I was contacted by Mark to travel to stunning Lochgoilhead for this extended family photoshoot to celebrate the 60th birthday of this young lady!

Extended family photoshoots are just the best! This family hadn’t all been together for 4 years, so capturing them in this beautiful location was such a pleasure…and it’s always a brucey bonus when they’re just all so lovely (and they bring a doggo!)

We spent a few hours in various locations capturing the whole family, plus smaller family group shots. The beautiful Scottish scenery speaks for itself!

Emma & Jay’s Intimate Glasgow Wedding

Emma & Jay's Intimate Glasgow Wedding

Emma & Jay both live in England, but their Scottish heritage is strong, and they love it up here!

They were having a small wedding at the City Chambers then going to the pub…my kind of people! We did a half day (4 hours) which included getting ready, pre-wedding drink, the ceremony and some photos after.

Photographing any wedding is an honour, but when they are this small and intimate, it’s just a joy I absolutely loved every second of this wedding, I’ve never witnessed a ceremony so full of love & fun! I laughed a lot and I may have cried too

The Noble Family

This sweet family were coming to Scotland on holiday from Maryland, USA and wanted a photographer to capture some family photos of their Scottish adventure!

We chose Pollok Park as it has so many nice locations, Highland Coo’s and a World Class Museum to boot!

The weather stayed dry until 1/2 an hour before we finished, so they also got to experience the fabulous Scottish weather (and its ability to change so quickly!)

Barbara won a voucher for family photographs that I had donated for a local charity night (Lucky Barbara!

) and she met me down at Roukenglen park one sunny day with her lovely family!

Although this is a very busy little park, I know some super quiet and secret little nooks, so camera-shy dad was way more comfortable! During sessions with little children, I tend to let them take the lead, and we go on dinosaur hunts, ride tree horses and play games!

The boys were brilliant (and mum & dad too!) and with a teeeeeny bit of bribery, we got some shots that mum was really happy with!

Ivy & Paul’s Intimate Glasgow Wedding

Ivy & Paul's Intimate Glasgow Wedding

Ivy & Paul have been together for many decades but decided to finally tie the knot in the most intimate wedding ever!

With just Ivy, Paul and their 2 witnesses (and me!) at Eastwood Registry Office, followed by a wee afternoon tea back at their house, it was just perfect!

To photograph any nuptials is an honour, but when it’s this intimate, it’s even more so!
